In rendering services to the Buffalo & Western New York Junior Soccer league, the referee is acting in the capacity of an independent contractor and is not an employee of the league. No joint venture, partnership, common enterprise or employer-employee relationship is created or contemplated by this agreement. The referee shall not represent himself/herself as an employee of the league and does not have any claim or rights arising from employee status. The Buffalo & Western New York Junior Soccer League does not have any responsibility for any payroll related taxes associated with the payments contemplated by this agreement and the services to be provided by the referee, all of which are the responsibility of the signed below.

The referee understands that game assignments or availability are based on experience, their availability and mentor evaluations. The referee agrees to follow the policies and procedures outlined on the League website.
