Directions to Grand Island Soccer Fields
Veterans Park - located on Bedell Road.
To access the fields from the south – take Interstate 190 northbound across the South Grand Island Bridge and exit immediately onto Route 324 (Grand Island Blvd.) Proceed to the third traffic light, Baseline Road. Turn right onto Baseline Road and proceed to the first traffic light, Bedell Road. To access Fields 1, 2, 3, or 4, turn right on Bedell Road. The fields will be on your left about ½ mile from the turn. To access Fields 6 or 7, proceed on Baseline past Bedell and turn right on Island Park Drive. The fields will be on your right about ½ mile from the turn.
To access the fields from the north – take Interstate 190 southbound across the North Grand Island Bridge and exit at Exit 20. Take Grand Island Blvd, Route 324 eastbound to the traffic light at Bedell Road. Turn left on Bedell Road and proceed to the first traffic light, Baseline Road. To access Fields 1, 2, 3, or 4, proceed straight on Bedell Road. The fields will be on your left about ½ mile from the intersection with Baseline Road. To access Fields 6 or 7, turn left on Baseline Road, and then turn right on Island Park Drive. The fields will be on your right about ½ mile from the turn.
Grand Island High School & Middle School
– located at 1100 Ransom Road.
To access the fields from the south, take Interstate-190 North across the Grand
Island Bridge and take the first exit - Grand Island Blvd., Route 324. At the 1st traffic
light, turn right onto Staley Road. At first stop sign, turn left onto Stony Point Road.
Proceed approximately 2.1 miles to Ransom Road. Turn right onto Ransom. The School is
approximately 0.7 miles on the right. The fields are in front of the school.
To access the fields from the north, take Interstate 190 south over the Grand
Island Bridge. Take Exit 20B- Grand Island Blvd, Route 324. Turn right at end of exit ramp
onto Grand Island Blvd. Go to the first light traffic light (approximately 1 mile) and
turn left onto Bedell Road. Go approximately 1.5 miles to Stony Point Rd. Turn left, and
then turn right at the first street - Ransom Road. The school is approximately 0.7 miles
on the right. The fields are in front of the school.
Beaver Island State Park -
Take the Niagara Thruway (Interstate 190) onto Grand Island and exit at the Beaver Island State Parkway. Follow the Parkway to where it ends at the Park entrance. Proceed into the Park past the golf course area and the picnic grounds. The soccer field will be on your left, but you must past at the parking lot above the picnic area.
